For the first time, Kroger will offer its own home grocery deliver service in the test market of Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Business Courier reports that the pilot program is being offered through a partnership with the Grocery Runners service.


Kroger was already working with Grocery Runners to fulfill their online ClickList orders, but now they have formed a relationship with the service that allows customers to order directly from the grocery retailer without contacting a separate delivery company. After the pilot program is tested, Kroger plans to expand the service to other ClickList locations in Greater Cincinnati. In other markets, Kroger is testing home delivery through other services – this includes Uber, Instacart, and Shipt.
